25th annual California Invasive Plant Council Symposium


Join the IPC for the 25th annual California Invasive Plant Council Symposium! This year’s symposium is being held in Yosemite at the Tenaya Lodge and is sure to be an engaging and diverse turn-out. Abstract submission and registration are now open. We invite talks and posters covering any aspect of invasive plant biology or management, plus diverse topics of importance to those working in land stewardship. Some of the special topics for 2016 include:

•          Managing invasive species in designated wilderness
•          Finding common ground with those managing cultural resources, wildfire, and      endangered species
•          Investigations into interactions between invasive plants and soil biota
•          Powerful partnerships that enable landscape-level conservation
•          How climate change informs invasive plant management prioritization
