The CFSC website has a new page intended to share existing resourceson tribal cultural fire use and best practices for incorportating traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) into research and land management practices:
The intention behind making these resources available is to improve awareness and understanding of tribal land management practices. The process of recognizing and incorporating tribal input and values into public land management can appear daunting, so the hope is that the papers and other links on the subject posted on this site can serve to improve understanding of the issues with regards to fire management in the state.
This page is intended to be a living, working document and is not a comprehensive source on the topic. If you'd like to suggest a change or something to post on the page, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
